Return Policy with Return Form

 

1. Cancellation and Exchange

 

1.1 Once an order has been placed via our website, you may cancel or modify it by emailing us at support@thevictorianwardrobe.com.

1.2 Once an order has been packed, it can no longer be cancelled or modified; instead, the order must be returned to us in accordance with paragraph 10 below. While our goods are shipped from Asia and may occasionally experience longer transit times. We are committed to ensuring your order arrives within a reasonable timeframe, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

1.3 If the goods are already in transit, cancellation may not be possible under our store’s internal processes. However, this does not limit your right to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law if the goods arrive late or are never delivered.

1.4 To help ensure a fast return process, we kindly ask that you send us a shipping confirmation when returning items.

1.5 While our system is fully automated and activates shipping shortly after checkout, please note that refunds are still available in certain situations beyond our stated 15-minute change window, in accordance with your rights under the law.

 


 

2. Returns and Refunds

 

2.1 Our Returns Policy is part of these Terms and Conditions under which you may visit and use our Website.

2.2 In addition to your legal rights, if you are not completely satisfied with your order for personal reasons, Victorian Wardrobe offers a 14-day return window on unused products in original condition and packaging. This applies only to change-of-mind returns and begins from the date the product is delivered to you.

2.3 Return shipping and associated costs are the responsibility of the customer for change-of-mind returns.

2.4 The customer is entitled to a refund once the returned product has been received and approved. We inspect all returned products upon arrival.

2.5 Returned items must be unused, with labels intact, in their original packaging, and securely packed. If returned items are in unsuitable or damaged condition, we may reject the return and are not obligated to issue a refund unless the item is faulty or misrepresented.

2.6 Our processing time for returns is typically within 14 days of receipt and approval of your return.

2.7 If we approve your return, you will receive an email confirmation, and a refund will be processed to your original payment method.

2.8 A cancellation is considered complete once we have physically received the goods.

 


 

3. Shipping Delays and Non-Delivery

While our products are shipped from Asia and may experience extended transit times, this does not remove our obligation to deliver within a reasonable timeframe.

If your order is significantly delayed or never arrives, you may be entitled to a full refund under Australian Consumer Law.

 


 

4. Refunds for Non-Delivery

 Victorian Wardrobe does not require customers to wait 16 weeks for a refund on non-delivered items.

If your order is not delivered within a reasonable timeframe, you are entitled to a refund, replacement, or other appropriate remedy under the Australian Consumer Law. We are committed to resolving such issues promptly and fairly.

 


 

5. Steps for Cancellation or Return

 

  1. Request a return form from our support team and send it back to us completed, signed, and scanned.

  2. Send the goods back using a tracked shipping method so we can identify your return.

    Informing us in advance helps ensure a quick refund. Once your return is received and inspected, the refund will be processed promptly.

 


 

6. Australian Consumer Law Notice

 

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

If a product you receive is:

  • Faulty,

  • Not as described,

  • Unsafe, or

  • Fails to perform as described,

    you are entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair, regardless of any store policy timeframes or conditions.
